KOMTRAX

KOMTRAX is Komatsu's exclusive remote satellite monitoring system that tracks machinery in real time from computer, phone or tablet. It monitors location, actual and per-mode working hours, fuel consumption and hour-meter readings. It helps control usage, plan maintenance, optimize operation and prevent theft.

Genuine parts

Komatsu makes all its genuine parts in its own plants under strict quality control, with material selection and engineering design for each model. Original parts deliver greater durability and a perfect fit for better performance without wearing other components, reducing unexpected downtime. Komatsu also offers Reman (remanufactured) components restored to original spec — a lower-cost alternative with factory-like performance. Genuine and Reman parts are ordered through My Komatsu, with dealer pickup or direct delivery.

Service & workshop

Komatsu supports the full equipment life cycle — from initial assembly to service and rebuild work — to keep machines at peak performance. It offers the Preventive Service Agreement (PSA), a contract that guarantees ongoing preventive maintenance. During warranty the equipment must use only genuine Komatsu parts, lubricants and filters. Support is delivered through the regional network of official dealers in Latin America.

Warranty

Komatsu Warranty Pro is an extended warranty that broadens coverage beyond the standard 12 months, in two plans: PTP (Power Train Pro), covering the diesel engine, power train, hydraulic system and Tier IV components; and EWP (Extended Warranty Pro), which adds hydraulic cylinders, chassis structure and cooling system. It requires the use of genuine Komatsu parts, lubricants and filters throughout the coverage.
